Toyota passes three million hybrid mark

Toyota has sold just over three million hybrids globally since it introduced its first, the Toyota Coaster Hybrid EV bus in 1997, followed that same year by the first-gen Prius. More impressive is the fact that more than a million of those sales have come since August of 2009.

Toyota offers 16 different hybrid models around the world, and it’s about to introduce several new variations of the Prius to our shores. Toyota’s Lexus luxury division has augmented the company’s hybrid movement, offering a gas-electric electric option on the RX, GS and LS models, and two dedicated hybrids, the CT andHS.

By the end of 2012, Toyota says it will add 10 more hybrid models to the global market. According to Toyota, hybrid vehicles had saved the nearly 18 million tons of C02 it would have produced building similarly sized traditional gas-powered cars.

2011 Hyundai Verna (aka Accent) was unveiled at Beijing Motor Show.
Sonata looks like a miniature, Verna, and integrated rear-view mirrors with LED turn signal lights sweptback, has a bold grille. Inside, cab high quality materials and has an improved design.

Gamma-way power two new petrol engines with fuel injection is coming. The base 1.4-liter 79 kW (106 hp / 107 hp) and 135 Nm (100 lb-ft) of torque produces. A five-speed manual-equipped liters/100km Verna 5.7 (41.2 mpg U.S.) is consumed. Four-speed automatic and fuel economy if the package you choose, liters/100km Verna 6.2 (37.9 mpg U.S.) emailing.

2011 Renault Megane

Here’s a look at the upcoming 2011 Megane CC (Coupe-Cabriolet) that was recently unveiled by Renault. The car will be offered in six different engine options which include three petrol engines (1.6 16V 110hp, TCe 130 (Turbo Control efficiency), 2.0 16V 140hp) and three diesel engines (dCi 110 DPF, dCi 130 DPF, dCi 160 DPF) along with three different transmission options: a six-speed manual, a new continuously variable transmission (CVT) and a new six-speed EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) dual-clutch automatic.
