Almost compulsory for any self-respecting tuning firm of supercars, the Lamborghini Gallardo has been chosen as their first conversion.

Amari Supercars, one of the largest pre-owned supercar dealers in the UK, has branched out into the tuning/lifestyle scene with Amari Design.

Almost compulsory these days for any self-respecting tuning firm of supercars, the Lamborghini Gallardo has been chosen as their first conversion. Dubbed the Invidia edition, the Gallardo features a restyled front bumper fascia, carbon fiber front lip, complete front fenders, quarter panels, side skirts, rear bumper fascia, carbon fiber diffuser, carbon fiber rear spoiler and stainless steel exhaust system.

The interior has also been made over with carbon fibre trim which is available in a range of different color weaves plus the carbon fiber racing seats trimmed in Alcantara.

Under the hood power output for the 5.0-liter V10 is increased from the standard 513 bhp (382 kW / 520 PS) up to a massive 740 bhp (552 kW / 750 PS).  Although no details are given on the performance upgrade, Amari Design emphasizes that all engine tuning is performed in-house by their own Amari Service garage headed by master technician John Greatorex who Amari states is in the UK’s top 5 supercar mechanics.

Development work is already underway for the first prototype and is expected to be launched end of April.

For their first project Jeremie Paret’s firm chose the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 that gets a set of glitzy Asanti Diamond wheels complete with pink-coloured brakes – now you see why Jeremie quit his job. Other than that, the customized Lambo features carbon fiber side skirts and door handles, a Reventon style front bumper with a carbon fiber lip, and a bigger rear diffuser.

Inside, the Italian supercar gets new leather/alcantara trimmed seats and parts and a high-end Alpine/Focal In Car Entertainment system.

Once in a while, we all like to clean up our cars ourselves -there’s nothing wrong with that. What’s indescribably wrong is to park a Lamborghini Gallardo in the centre of Bucharest, capital of Romania, and wash it using a bucket and water from a fountain across the street! Heffner Lamborghini Gallardo with 930HP at the Wheels!

Heffner, as in Heffner Performance has introduced a special tuning package for the Lamborghini Gallardo that could stir the same havoc as a pin-up model on Hugh Hefner’s Playboy magazine centerfold. The Florida-based firm has enhanced the Gallardo’s 5.0-liter V10 engine with the addition of twin-turbos, polished crankshaft journals, a new custom exhaust system and a series of other mods that help boost power to an outrageous 930 HP –at the wheels…

It is not clear if Heffner Performance offers buyers the option to disable the Gallardo’s AWD system sending all that massive power to the rear wheels as it has done in the past with other modified Lamborghinis, though that’s something we’d like to see in action –from a safe distance of course. -Continued

Apart from the mechanical upgrades, Heffner Performance has enhanced the Gallardo’s appearance with a carbon-fiber deck lid and Superleggera-like carbon-fiber rear diffuser and rear spoiler.

Wedding Crashers in Britain Destroy Rental Lamborghini Gallardo Spider

Talk about the real wedding crashers; according to a report from The SUN, four Asian-looking men in their late 20s rented a fleet of supercars including three Lamborghinis and a Bentley Continental GT for a wedding but the celebrations didn’t last long as one of them totaled a Gallardo Spider.

The SUN reports that after the wedding reception the group of men went for a drink at The Cider House in Wooton, Shrops where they bragged about hiring the cars for £5,000 a piece for the weekend and how one of them took the supercar up to 160mph. After a few drinks the pals drove off but one of them lost control of the Gallardo Spider trashing it on a tree. The report states that the four men fled the scene before the police arrived. Funny thing is that one witness stated that people stood around the wrecked Spider taking bits off and sitting in it!

IMSA Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 with 584Hp

Lamborghini and Audi tuning specialist IMSA has launched a new sport package for the recently facelifted Gallardo LP 560. The German firm’s Spartan press release states that the package includes a new set of lightweight alloys (without mentioning the diameter) and a sport suspension set up, than can be combined with a carbon fiber rear-wing spoiler and a new sport exhaust system that not only coddles the driver with acoustic delights but it also increases the Gallardo LP560 V10’s output to 584Hp (+24Hp). -Image gallery after the jump

Brits Readying Lamborghini Gallardo Limousine

Seems like the chaps over at U.K. based Strechlimousines weren’t put off by Ferrari’s legal threats on the 360 Limousine, which by the way, is up for sale on eBay (click here), as the company is now working on a stretched version of the Lamborghini Gallardo. For the time being, Strechlimousines has uploaded a photoshoped version of the Gallardo Limo but we’ll keep an eye on them and inform you when they release the actual car.
